Jake W. "Buddy" Poole, Jr.

Jake Weldon "Buddy" Poole, Jr., 79, passed away on January 6, 2014 in a local care facility. Buddy was born June 24, 1934 to Jake and Nita Poole and served his country in the U.S. Marines from 1955 to 1958. During his younger years, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also loved camping, blue grass music and whittling. Mr. Poole is survived by his wife, Sharon Clark Poole; son, Weldon Cline; brother, Joseph Poole; and sisters, Geraldine Little and Betty Miller. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a son, Kirk Douglas Poole. His body was cremated under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
