James Albert Lawson, Sr.

James Albert Lawson, Sr., 68, of Sulphur passed away on November 8, 2014 in his residence. James is survived by his three sons, Steve Carter of Ada, Ok, James A. Lawson, Jr. and wife Echo of Sulphur; Jeff Lawson and wife, Paula of Pearl, MS, and; four daughters, Cynthia Bernard Burk and husband Greg of Duncan, OK, LaDena Marshall and husband Shawn of Norman, OK , Pamela Poston and husband, Dewayne of Marlow, OK, and Dalana Coria and husband, Franko of Sulphur; 2 sisters, Mary Alice Reed of Velma, OK and Bertha Qualls of Duncan, OK; 17 grandchildren and 11great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Mae Lawson; a granddaughter Baylee Lawson; a sister; and 2 brothers. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at 10 A.M. at Open Door Biker Church in Sulphur with Pastor Vince Guidry officiating. Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at the church from 2-9 P.m. and will resume on Wednesday from 9 A.M. until time of the service.
