James Charles Domino, 64, passed away, Sunday, December 09, 2012 peacefully after a brief battle with cancer.
Mr. Domino was born August 05, 1948, eldest son of James C. and Geraldine Watts Domino. He moved to Lake Charles in 1967 and was a graduate of LaGrange High School. Mr. Domino worked many years in the Construction Industry, having worked primarily for White Construction and Reeves Construction. He enjoyed many hobbies, reading and fishing and as a member of the South West Area Modelers of Plastic, won many awards for his scale models in military vehicles.
He was preceded death by his parents, J.C. and Geraldine Domino and younger brother, Bennie (Tony) Domino.
He leaves to honor his memory, his youngest brother, Joseph Domino and wife Sue of Lake Charles; one nephew, John Domino and fiance' Rachel and their children, John and Lorili; nieces, Lisa Carter and Carolyn Anderson and their children and nephew, Floyd Wayne Anderson.
The family would like to express their gratitude to James lifelong friends, Mike Martell and the children and grandchildren of Homer and Sis White. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him! May he rest in peace.
A celebration of life will be at 2:00 PM Sunday, December 16, 2012 at the White home, 7605 Tammy Lane, off Tank Farm Road, east of the Lake Charles Municipal Airport. Arrangements were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
