James Donald Hamilton

James Donald Hamilton passed away Saturday, May 16, 2015, at his residence in Ragley, Louisiana. Mr. James was born on April 27, 1935, in Owosso, MI. He enjoyed passing his free time with his family and friends. Mr. Hamilton was also a lifelong member of the VFW, Post 1, in Ragley after he served in the Air Force for a total of four years. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 57 years, Eleanor Rosteet Hamilton; his son James Martin Hamilton; and favorite daughter-in-law Sherrol Hamilton. Mr. James is preceded in death by his parents Donald Hamilton of Owosso, MI, and Lillian Swan of Coruana, MI. His funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Ronnie Estes will officiate. Burial will follow in Magnolia Cemetery in Ragley. Visitation will be at 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, April 19, 2015 at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will resume on Wednesday from 8:00 AM until the time of service.
