James Edward Lowe

James Edward Lowe,84, of Vinton, LA passed away in Crockett, TX on July 4, 2021.

James was born on April 18, 1937, in Delhi, LA to John and Vera Lowe. He enjoyed watching Dale Earnhardt and Nascar. James worked in the Petro Chemical Industry all of his life and retired from Certainteed after many years of service. He was a board member of Christian Life Church of Vinton, La. until his death.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 53 years, Patricia Lowe; two children, Sheila Lowe Snider and husband Don, Shane Dwayne Lowe and stepdaughter, Theresa Lynn Self; niece they raised as their own, Kelli Miller and husband Arlen; 12 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and three siblings, Patty Ann Boothe, Jean Dulin, and Ethel Mae Campbell.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 10, 2021, at Christian Life Church of Vinton. Visitation will begin from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Friday, July 9, 2021, at Christian Life Church of Vinton. Visitation will resume on Saturday from 9:00 AM until time of services at Christian Life Church of Vinton. Burial will be at Westlake Memorial Park. Pastor Don Snider will officiate services.
