James "Jim" Reynolds

November 21, 1927 — August 5, 2022

James “Jim” Reynolds, 94, passed away on August 5, 2022 in Tempe, Arizona while visiting family.

Jim was born on November 21,1927 in New Orleans, Louisiana to James and Geneva Reynolds. He was the youngest of five children.

Jim is survived by his devoted wife, Mary; his daughter, Rebekah; son, Nathan; nine grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

Jim was baptized as one of Jehovah Witnesses on September 13,1947 and lived as a Christian Witness until his death.

On August 13, 1949, Jim wed June Rose Newton and they were married for almost 65 years. There were three children born to this union — Randy Keith, Rebekah Lynne, and Nathan Eli. After June’s death, Jim married Mary Rohrman Cormier and they were happily married until his passing.

Jim’s genuine interest and care for others impacted many lives. All who knew and loved him will miss him dearly.

Like Jim, his family finds comfort in the hope of John 5:28, 29, which says, “The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.”

A virtual Zoom Memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 2 p.m. (CT). Brother Tom Collins will deliver the memorial talk.
