James Lynn Toney

James L. Toney, 68, of Lake Charles passed away at 5:31 PM, Tuesday, July 20, 2010 in a local hospital.

He was a native of Glenmora, Louisiana and a graduate of Glenmora High School. Mr. Toney has lived in Lake Charles since 1965. Mr. Toney worked for Pelican Supply Company, PVF, Wallace Supply, Reynolds Pipe and Supply, and Deep South Oilfield Supply. He was a Veteran of the U. S. Air Force. He was an avid LSU fan and loved dancing with his wife.

He is survived by his wife of forty-five years, Cheryl Tullier Toney of Lake Charles; threes sons, Jeff Toney of Lake Charles, Stacy Toney of Reeves, and Lane Toney and wife Lisa of Troy, IL; two grandsons; three sisters, Sandra Lawrence, Bobby June Fox, and Carla Britt.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM, Saturday, July 24, 2010 at Johnson Funeral Home.
