James Miller

James Miller, 77, of Sulphur, LA passed away in a local care facility on May 13, 2014 at 4:00 AM. Mr. Miller was born April 6, 1937 in Woodlawn, LA to Jefford and Gertie Miller. He is survived by his wife, Amelia Martin Miller; two sons, James Calvin Miller and wife Rebecca, of Iota, LA and Alvin Terry Miller of Sulphur, LA; one daughter, Velma Pelloquin and husband Nathan of Sulphur, LA; three brothers, Howard Miller, Daniel Miller and Henry West; one sister, Ruby Hines; three grandchildren, Jamie Lynn Authement, Wesley Ryan Jenkins and Garrett James Miller; and one great grandchild, Gunner Authement. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Lee Allen Miller and Lilburn "Leonard" Miller; sister, Syble Crader; and great granddaughter Chloe Jade Authement. His cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
