James Monroe Stark, Jr.

James Monroe J Stark, Jr. 47, passed away April 27, 2011 in his residence. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2011at 10 a. m .in St. Theresa Catholic Church in Carlyss, with Father Joe Aquino officiating. Burial will follow in Mimosa Cemetery (South). The family will receive friends on Friday, April 29, 2011 from 3-9 p.m. at Robison Funeral Home Chapel with a rosary at 6p .m led by Deacon Johnny Mounce . Visitation will resume on Saturday at 9a.m. until time of service. James was a native and lifelong resident of Sulphur, graduated from Sulphur High Class of 81. After graduation he went for 4 years to Apprenticeship School to become an electrician. He worked for his father, Jim, and worked his way up to president of Sulphur Electric Co. James was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, where he was a member of The Knights of Columbus, a member of IBEW Local 861 and served on the Board of Trustees for the retirement and also a member of Ducks Unlimited. James was an avid hunter and fisherman and a wonderful husband, father and son. James is survived by his wife, Kala Stark, three boys, Jason, Landon and Aaron and daughter, Olivia Stark all of Sulphur, parents, Jim and Bonnie Stark of Sulphur, two brothers, Jeff Stark and Jud Stark and wife, Carol of Sulphur, mother and father-in-law, Sterling and Charlotte Williams of Sulphur. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wallace and Mary Lee Stark and Clifford Knapp and Willy Bee Henderson Crawford.
