James Nolan Lejeune

James Nolan LeJeune, 78 of Westlake died on August 21, 2022, at his residence.  He was born on July 24, 1944, in Lafayette to the late Joe and Luda LeJeune.

James was raised in Basile and worked many years as a mechanic in Elton and Westlake.  After his retirement, he loved spending his time visiting with his family and friends.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sister, Gloria LeSage; four nieces, Yvette LaSage, Angela Fontenot Dugan, Katina LaSage and Crystal Fontenot; three nephews, Kirt Fontenot, Troy Fontenot, and Terry LaSage II; numerous great nieces and nephews and two great-great nieces.

James was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Francis LeJeune; and one sister, Margaret LeJeune Fontenot.
