James Patrick Pat King

James Patrick Pat King, of Lake Charles passed away Saturday, May 18, 2013 in the comfort of his home.

Mr. King was a lifelong resident of Lake Charles. He was a graduate of Lake Charles High School and McNeese State University where he attained Bachelor degree in Accounting. He worked his younger years as an Accountant for the McNeese Credit Union and Gulf States Utilities. He also worked in surveillance for Harrah's Riverboat Casino and most recently, nearly ten years as a Manager for Academy Sports and Outdoors. Mr. King enjoyed fishing, hunting and watching sports.

He leaves to honor his memory, his mother, Genevieve Rhorer King of Lake Charles; one brother, Robert M. Mike King of Lake Charles; girlfriend, Debbie Blair of Tulsa, OK; aunt, Charlotte Lee of Lake Charles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Joseph King.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 22, 2013 in the Johnson Funeral Home. Monsignor Jace Eskind will officiate. Visitation Wednesday will be from 12:00 PM until the time of service in the funeral home.
