James Pierce Ware

James Pierce Ware, 75, of Sweet Lake, LA died on Friday, July 4, 2014 in his residence. Mr. Ware was born April 13, 1939 in Alabama City, AL, raised in Gadsden, Al and has called Sweet Lake home since 1965. He owned and operated Sweet Lake Garage for a number of years and was a member of Livingway Pentecostal Church. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a member of the Old Folks Hunting Club in Homer, LA. Mr. Ware is survived by his children, Joey Ware and wife Theresa of Sweet Lake, Randy Keever and wife Tina of Lacassine, LA, and Carrie "Sissy" Farque and husband Rickie of DeQuincy, LA; brother, Gary Ridgeway; thirteen grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Fontenot Ware. Cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home. A private memorial service will be at a later date.
