James Scott Willson

James “Scott” Willson, 51, of Sulphur, LA passed away on November 19, 2023.

James was born on September 19, 1972, in Houston, TX to Willis Stan Willson and Alice. Scott became a Law Enforcement officer where he truly loved all he served and worked with while at the Lake Charles Police Department and Cameron Parish Sheriff’s office. He enjoyed being around family and friends and traveling.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Jessica Harris Willson; three children, Grant Willson, Kynnedy Willson, and Fallon Willson; two brothers, Stan Willson and Mike Willson; sister, Jennifer Downing Willson; step-mother, Karen Willson; and one granddaughter.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Lauren McCord.

Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson and Robison Funeral Home.
