Janet Dubea

Janet Faye Carrier Dubea, 58, of Lake Charles, LA, passed away at 9:30 PM on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 in a local hospital.

Ms. Dubea was born May 16, 1963 in Eunice, LA and was a 1981 graduate of Bolton High School.  She has resided in Lake Charles for the past eight years.  Ms. Dubea worked as a caretaker for a number of years.  She loved her family and her grandchildren dearly and was loved by all who knew her.  She will be remembered as a good friend to all and enjoyed spending time with her friends and time at the beach.

Ms. Dubea is survived by her son, Jed Dubea; siblings, Wayne Fruge, Sherry Guillory, Donald Fruge, Jackie Madison, and Catherine Carrier; her beloved grandchildren, Ian, Eli, and Elora Dubea; and numerous other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ivan Carrier and Rose Fontenot.

Her cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home of Lake Charles.
