Janet Hoeflicker

Janet Hoffpauir Hoeflicker, 83, died on Sunday, April 16, 2023, at Holly Hill Nursing Center.

Mrs. Hoeflicker was born on June 17, 1939, and was a lifelong resident of Sulphur, LA.  In 1956 she married Tommy Hoeflicker whom together they owned and operated T&J Motors, Inc. for over 40 years. She was an avid reader and enjoyed working crossword puzzles, but her favorite hobbies were cooking and spending time with family.

Janet is survived by her four children: Steven Hoeflicker and wife Synthia of Moss Bluff, Sandra Deason of Sulphur, Sheila Conner and husband Troy of Sulphur, Scott Hoeflicker and wife Regina of Carlyss; ten grandchildren; and nineteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Velma Hoffpauir; her beloved husband of 51 years, Tommy Hoeflicker; her daughter, Sharon Hoeflicker; her brother, Terrell Hoffpauir; and her sister, Carmelita Raymond.

Funeral services for Janet will be held at 2PM, Thursday, April 20, 2023, at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mimosa Pines Cemetery of Carlyss. Deacon Patrick LaPoint will officiate. Visitation will be at the funeral home Thursday, 10AM -2PM with a recitation of the Rosary at 1:30pm.

The family would like to thank the staff of Harbor Hospice Hospital and Holly Hill Nursing Center for the wonderful care they provided to Mrs. Hoeflicker.
