Janice Ann Reed

Janice Ann Reed 49, passed away on March 27, 2014 in her residence. She attended Sulphur High School and lived in Sulphur for the past 49 years. Janice worked as an operator for Civil Construction for the past 6 years. She loved to fish, cut grass, and cook on the weekends for everyone.

Janice is survived by her husband, Dwayne Reed of Sulphur; daughter, Jessica Hale of Sulphur; son, Dwayne Reed Jr. of Sulphur; 3step daughters, Emma Reed of Kansas, Shavanah Reed of Lake Charles and Destiny Reed of Sulphur; father, Charles Pat Spell; mother, Claudie Spell; 3 sisters, Janet Meistrall of Carlyss, Barbara Bourge and Jamie Menard both of Sulphur; 1 brother, Jeffery Spell of Lake Charles; 3 grandchildren; Bentley Leger, Kamryn Reed Stensaker and Shawn Whitaker.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Johnny Mounce officiating. Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 28, 2014 from 3-9 p.m. at the funeral home and will resume on Saturday at 9 a.m. until time of the service.
