Jason Eric Fisher

Jason Eric Fisher, 36, passed away in his home on March 17, 2017

He was a dedicated worker at Kroger since he was only 16 years old. He also enjoyed working at Stines for nearly 10 years. He was a friend to everyone he met. He believed quality over quantity, having a few but very good friends. Jason was an avid gun collector that also loved talking politics and history. It was a lifelong dream to serve our country in the US Military but due to his condition was unable. His greatest accomplishment in his eyes was not his 2 degrees from Sowela Technical College but was earning his Eagle Scout status. He attended Lakewood Christian Academy and was also homeschooled. His inspiration came from his love of the Lord and his passion for his country.

Jason leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Makayla Istre; siblings, Charles Fisher and his wife Beverly that was a close friend to Jason; his twin sister, Tiffani Amybeth Fisher and husband Mauricio Dubon-Borjas; numerous nieces and nephews; honorary brother, Garrett Faulk; and honorary sister, Kayla Felix who both went above and beyond to be there to help Jason.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Freddie and Renee’ Fisher.

A funeral service will be held at Johnson Funeral at 11AM on Friday, March 24, 2017.   Burial will follow at Consolata Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Thursday, March 23 at the funeral home 5PM to 9PM. Visitation will continue Friday morning at 9AM until the start of the service.
