Jason Paul Buxton

Funeral services for Jason Paul Buxton, 31 of Sulphur, will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at 10 am at Full Life Assembly of God Church in DeQuincy with Pastor Greg Cavenah officiating. Burial will follow in the Good Hope Cemetery, Singer, LA. Visitation will begin on Friday, November 25, from 5pm-9pm at Full Life Assembly of God Church, DeQuincy. Jason was a native of Singer and a long-time resident of DeRidder and Sulphur. After graduating from DeRidder High he attended McNeese University. He then went to work as a Heavy Equipment Operator for PPG. He was a member of the Local IAM Union. Jason was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing. He loved sharing the outdoors with his children. One of Jasons most admirable attributes was that if someone needed him, no matter when or where, he was there. Jason was preceded in death by Downs Buxton, Mack & Eula Clark, Carles & Victoria Luther and Mike Beckom. Jason is survived by his wife, Adrienne Buxton of Sulphur; two children, Izabel Grace and Jayce Luther Buxton of Sulphur; mother and her friend, Jeanez Beckom and Dan Butler, MD of Singer; father, Dennis Ray Buxton of Kirbyville, TX; maternal grandparents, Carolyn and Virgil Luther of Singer; paternal grandmother, Wanda Buxton of DeQuincy; brother, Trent Buxton and wife Erika of DeQuincy; half-sister, Jessica Buxton of Buna, TX; aunts and uncles, Frank and D.D. Alton, Darrell and Diana Spears, Bill Buxton, Willard Happy Buxton, Carol Cooper, Chris and Teri Buxton, and Danny Buxton; extended family and a host of friends.
