Jay Allen Hobbs, 35, went to be with our Lord on April 29, 2014 in his residence. Services for Jay will be held on Friday, May 2, 2014 at 11 am at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Archimandrite Herbert J. May officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday, May 1, 2014 from 4-9 pm with a Cursillo Rosary at 7 pm and from 9 am til the time of the service Friday. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines North. Jay was a nationally certified pipefitter for 15 years. Jay was a founding member of the Matthew LeBlanc Squire Circle Number 3984. Jay was also a member of the KC Council #8978. Jay made his Cursillo in 2000 and was a member of Our Lady of Lasalette Church. Jay was a 1997 graduate of Sulphur High School. Jay is survived by his parents, Joe and Emma Hobbs of Sulphur; his aunt, Dolores (Billy) Pyle of Odessa, TX; cousins, Deidra (Henry) Owen of Conroe, TX, Stacy (Keith) Foreman of Leander, TX, Kevin (Kathy) Rochester of Hamilton, TX, Julie (Don) Smith of Cecil, AR, Brian (Tracy) Rochester of Oklahoma City, OK, Trevor (Kim)Owen of Mandeville, LA, Rachel Owen of Conroe, TX, Grant Foremen of Leander, TX and numerous other cousins. Jay was preceded in death by his grandparents, Walter and Annie Hobbs and Leo and Nita Pecorino Harper and uncles, Elvy Rochester and Rufes Harper.
