Jean Ciddie Eaglin

Jean Ciddie Eaglin, 69 of Sulphur passed away on Friday, December 7, 2012 at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Sulphur with Father Edward Richard officiating. Burial will be in Perkins Cemetery in Westlake under the direction of Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 14, 2012 from 6-9 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. at Robison Funeral Home and will resume on Saturday at 9 a.m. at the funeral home until time of the service. Jean was a native of Sunset, LA and a long-time resident of Sulphur. He worked for many years in the construction business and was a member of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church. Jean is survived by his wife of 47 years, Velma Eaglin of Sulphur; son, Ron Eaglin of Sulphur; two sisters, Reva Eaglin of Branch, LA and Rita Hebert of Carencro, LA; 5 God-daughters, Caroline Eaglin of Branch, LA, Mary Ann Alfred and Darlene Carrie both of Church Point, LA, Geraldine Eaglin of Sulphur and Shamika White of Monroe, LA; 3 God-sons, Kevin Chavis of Lafayette, LA, Kevin Citizen of Church Point, LA and Curtis Guillory of Lake Charles.
