Iona Jeanette Hebert Corbello, 80, passed away Friday, June 10, 2011, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Beaumont, Texas to Wilton Joseph and Antoinette Gary Hebert, Mrs. Corbello lived most of her life in Iowa. She was a devoted homemaker, finding her greatest joys in reading her Bible, living for the Lord, and loving her grandchildren. Mrs. Corbello was a member of St. Raphael Catholic Church, the Catholic Daughters and sang in the church choir.
Mrs. Corbello is survived by her husband of 64 years, Lee Clopha Corbello; son, Gregory Corbello and wife Linda; daughters Donna Corbello and companion David Benavente, all of Lake Charles, and Paula Bordelon and husband Jerry of Lafayette; six grandchildren, Heath Corbello and wife Sonya, Sherie Corbello Alston and husband Darian, Ryan Bordelon and wife Tracy, Blake Bordelon, Robbie LeBert and wife Eva, and Seth LeBert; and great grandchildren, Hunter, Taner, Ashton, Sophia, Susie, Reese Claire, Lakyn and Andre'.
Funeral services wil be held at 11 a.m. on Sunday, June 12, 2011 at Johnson Funeral Home. Rev. Mark Culton will officiate. Interment will be at Lacassine Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday from 5 until 9 p.m. and on Sunday from 8 a.m. until service time.
