Jeanette Tat Lancon Broussard

December 20, 1940 — May 22, 2011

Jeanette "Tat" Lancon Broussard, 70, of Sulphur died Sunday, May 22, 2011 in a local hospital.


Mrs. Broussard was born and raised in New Iberia and has lived 43 years in Sulphur. She enjoyed being a mom, nurturing and raising her children and adored her grandchildren. She was an active member of the Sulphur congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall.


Mrs. Broussard will be most remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and friend and for generosity.


She leaves to cherish her memory, one son, Michael Bryant Broussard and wife Monique and two daughters, Jennifer Aline Levron and husband Jason and Katie Jo Broussard, all of Sulphur; one grandchild; four step grandchildren; three brothers; one sister and numerous nieces and nephews. She also leaves one nephew and two nieces that she raised as her own, Paul Broussard, Marcy Burnett and April Kibodeaux and their mother Karen Broussard.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Bryant Broussard.


Memorial services will be at 7:00 PM Monday, May 23, 2011 in Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Sulphur. Officiating Minister will be Michael Elliott. Arrangements for services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
