Jeanine Pryor

Mrs. Jeanine Pryor passed away Monday, February 28, 2011. She was a native and lifelong resident of Lake Charles. She was born March 27, 1935 to Alfred and Wilda Porter.

Mrs. Pryor enjoyed going to the camp in Big Lake where she also enjoyed fishing. She especially loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include four children, Kimberly Richard and husband Bennett of Kingwood, TX, Michael Pryor and wife Allison of Lake Charles, Nannette Vincent and husband Michael of Carlyss, Mark Pryor and wife Laura of Sulphur; sister, Jackie Morris of Lake Charles; 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Pryor is preceded in death by her husband Melvin "M.R." Pryor.

Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, March 3, 2011 at 1:00 PM in Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Father T.L. Herlong will officiate. Burial will follow in Prien Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday in Johnson Funeral Home from 5PM-9PM with a rosary at 6:30PM. Visitation will continue Thursday from 8AM until time of service.

Grandsons and nephews will serve as pallbearers.
