Jeanne Burr Ryan

Jeanne Burr Ryan, 90, of Lake Charles, LA passed away in Jennings at the Southwest Louisiana War Veteran’s Home on Tuesday, May 3, 2016.

Mrs. Ryan served her country in the Women’s Army Air Corps during World War II.

She is survived by one daughter, Heather Ryan Kelley of Lake Charles, LA; one son, Major Christopher Ryan, U.S. Army of Alexandria, VA.; grandson, Matthew Ryan Kelley and wife Kathy of Houston, Texas; granddaughter, Elizabeth Brophy, of Ft. Bragg, North Carolina; and great-grandsons, Ryan Kelley and Johnathan Kelley.

She was predeceased by husband, Charles Ryan; and sons, Carlton Ryan and Charles Ryan, Jr. of Dallas, Texas.

Visitation will be at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd on Thursday, May 5, from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM. Funeral service will be at 10:30 AM Thursday, May 5, 2016 at Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd. Father Jack Myers will officiate.

Graveside services will take place in Restland Cemetery in Dallas, Texas on Thursday, May 12, 2016.
