Jeff Cole Lundy

Jeff Cole Lundy, 62, entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, surrounded by his family January 24, 2015. Jeff was born May 16, 1952, in Lake Charles to Thomas Edward Jr. and Patricia Helms Lundy. He graduated from LaGrange High School and McNeese State University. Jeff was an active member of Trinity Baptist Church. He lived out his faith in Christ to the fullest each day. He had a servant's heart that he graciously used to show others Christ's love daily. He continued the family legacy of becoming an Eagle Scout. Jeff served his country honorably as a First Lieutenant in the US Army. He worked in the water treatment industry for many years. Jeff had many achievements in his life, but will be fondly remembered for being a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. Jeff was preceded in death by his son Christopher Cole and his father Thomas Edward Lundy, Jr. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Carlena Waltrip Lundy, his son David and his wife Leigh Erin Jones Lundy of New Orleans, LA; daughter Rachael Lundy of Baton Rouge, LA; three step-sons Mitchell Scott, Nicholas Keith and Matthew James Crador all of Lake Charles, LA; mother Patricia Lundy Bride and her husband Dr. Francis Bride; sister Lynn and her husband James Ray of Sulphur, LA; two brothers Hunter Lundy and his wife Julie and Matthew Lundy and his wife Marti both of Lake Charles, LA; five grandchildren Ella Grace, Jones Cole, Miley Claire, Callie Danielle and Colton James. His funeral will be at Trinity Baptist Church on Monday, January 26, 2015, at 2pm. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday, January 25, 2015, from 4:00 until 7:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Home and Monday from 12:00 PM until the time of services at Trinity Baptist Church.
