Jeffery Spell

Jeff Spell, 52, passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at a local hospital with his family by his side. Jeff was born on March 30, 1963 in Sulphur to Pat and Claudia Spell. He was a resident of Robinswood School in Lake Charles for the past two years. Jeff loved to play the accordion and ride bikes. Jeff loved French music and food. He was a loving son, brother and uncle. Jeff is survived by his parents; sisters, Janet (Randy) Meistrell, Barbara (Carlton) Bourge and Jamie Menard; paternal grandmother, Sadie Leche; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Jeff was preceded in death by one sister, Janice Reed. Services for Jeff will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 11 am at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Big Woods Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, November 9, 2015 from 4-9 at the funeral home and will resume on Tuesday from 9 am until the time of service. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the nurses and staff at Robinswood School for the love and care showed to Jeff.
