Jeffrey Glen Couvillion

Jeff Couvillion, 61, of Sulphur departed on Tuesday, May 26, 2020. He was born on April 14, 1959 to his late parents, Jerome Couvillion and Lucille Couvillion Young. He fought four hard years battling lung cancer.

He was a member of Truth Apostolic Church and LifePoint Church where he enjoyed singing and playing the piano for the Lord and at times teaching the word of God.

Jeff graduated from Sulphur High Class of 1977. He owned and operated an 18-wheeler for 20 plus years (Couvillion Trucking). Jeff retired from working at industrial plants as a Quality Control employee.

He is survived by his loving wife of fourteen years, Alicia Alcantara Couvillion; son James Couvillion of Sulphur; daughters Shantel Couvillion Armantrout of Arlington, Texas and Sylvia Eagan of Kinder Louisiana; grandchildren Austin Johnson, Tristan Couvillion, Skylar Couvillion, Cameron Couvillion, Jaxson Couvillion, Reagan Armantrout, Jordan Davidson, Isiah Denney, Samara Eagan; great grandchild Lukas Johnson; sisters Cheryl Couvillion Crawford and Linda Couvillion Bimle and brother Mark Couvillion (Jennifer); brother in law Reverend Scott Wilson (Kathy); sister in laws Lori Couvillion and Cindy Couvillion.

Jeff was preceded in death by brothers Jerry Couvillion, Keith Couvillion, Kevin Couvillion and sister Kathleen Couvillion Wilson.
