Jennifer Ann Leger

Jennifer Ann Leger, 58 of Kaplan passed away on March 15, 2021.

She was born on September 22, 1962 in Lake Charles, LA. She attended and graduated from LaGrange High School. After graduation, she became a licensed massage therapist and also worked at Walgreens.

She had many things she was passionate about, she enjoyed watching Hot-Air Balloon parades, collecting Angels, porcelain dolls and jewelry.

She was welcomed into Heaven by her parents, Ferdinand and Martha Leger.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of five years, Robert “Bobby” Leger of Kaplan; a son, Kalem Andrew Geerts and girlfriend Diana of Midland, TX; her grandchildren, Jailynn Evans and Kaylee Reyes; a brother, Johnny (Sandra) Matte; a sister, Tina (Billy) Gary; and a cousin, Elaine Romero; as well as other extended family.

The family will welcome friends at University Baptist Church on Thursday, March 18, 2021 beginning at 3pm to 7pm. Visitation will resume Friday, March 19, 2021 at 9am until time of service. A funeral service will begin at 10am led by Zack Rodriguez and she will be laid to rest in Consolata Cemetery.
