Jennifer G. Thibodeaux

Jennifer G. Thibodeaux, 61, of Sulphur passed away at 8:45 PM on Saturday, July 15, 2023 in a local hospice facility.

For those of you who knew her, she was Jennifer, Jen, Jenny, and on the rare occasion, Jennifer Marie. For some of us, she was mom. For all of us, she was dearly loved and will be terribly missed. 

She came into this world on July 10, 1962, in Dallas, TX and gracefully crossed into the next life on July 15, 2023 - just days after her 61st birthday. As she awoke to her new life, she was greeted by her parents, Clyde and Aline Goudeau; brother Larry; and numerous friends all ready to celebrate her. 

A loyal employee at Solar Supply, she spent over 20 years there making an impact, but also striving for balance. There was no doubt that if her children needed her, she was taking that time to be with them. Jenny was much loved and built lasting friendships with her co-workers. 

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her companion, Blaine Spharler; children, Kristen Thibodeaux (C.B.) and Ryan Thibodeaux; sisters Mary Ann Brabner and Theresa Ardoin, honorary sister, Kat Williams (Grady); and grandchildren, Regan and Kyle. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, friends, and God children. 

For those of us who are here, we remember her heart. She was a fighter who loved deeply, forgave quickly, and devoted her life to her children and grandchildren. We will always remember Sunday morning church and donuts, Thursday evening spelling quizzes, monthly Pokeno nights, and her unconditional love. If ever there was someone in our corner rooting for us, it was her! 

The family would like to thank Harbor Hospice for their care and support. They made these last few months, easier with their care. 

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, July 20, 2023 in the Johnson Funeral Home chapel.  Chaplain Jeff Hooper will officiate.  A gathering of family and friends will begin at 11:00 AM and continue until the start of the service.
