Jennifer Gail Regan Mouhot

Jennifer Gail Regan Mouhot, 59, of Westlake passed away Friday, August 31, 2012.

Mrs. Mouhot lived most of her life in Lake Charles, having lived the past fifteen years in Westlake. She was a graduate of Lake Charles High School and Sowela Technical Institute. During her younger years, she worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at St. Patrick's Hospital, Lake Charles Memorial Hospital and a number of local nursing homes. Mrs. Mouhot enjoyed sewing, was a talented artist, enjoying drawing and painting and loved fishing. She was a member of St. John Bosco Catholic Church.

Mrs. Mouhot will be most remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother whose greatest joy was sharing time with her grandchildren.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her devoted husband of twenty-eight years, David E. Mouhot of Westlake; two daughters, Marcie D. Richardson and husband Ryan of Tiffin, OH and Denise D. Hebert and husband Cory of New Iberia; four grandchildren, Erin Hebert, Kane Richardson, Cole Hebert and Hunter Richardson; one brother, Robert Gregory Regan of San Diego, CA; two sisters, Theresa R. Mancuso and husband Mike of Santa Fe, TX and Julie K. Mallet and husband Danny of Elgin, FL; three brothers-in-law, Michael A. Mouhot and wife Brenda of Kinder, Robert L. Mouhot of Sulphur and Don A. Mouhot and companion Judy of Lake Charles; one sister-in-law, Barbara Diane Pinter and husband Mike of Sulphur; two nieces, Brandi J. Thompson and husband Scott of Savannah, GA and Christina Wortham of Elgin, FL and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert E. and Iris Reed Regan and her father and mother-in-law, Earl and Betty J. Mouhot.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, September 08, 2012 at St. John Bosco Catholic Church under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Father Albert Borel will officiate. Visitation Friday will be from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary beginning at 7:00 PM and will continue Saturday from 8:00 AM until 9:15 AM in the funeral home.
