Jennifer Lynne Manuel Martin

Jennifer Lynne Manuel Martin, 37, of LeBleu Settlement passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 in a local hospital. Jennifer was born on November 2, 1977 in Lake Charles, LA. She was a graduate of LaGrange High School. Jennifer began working for Roundtree Dodge Dealership upon graduation. She then worked at the daycare at First Church of Christ before working in the deli at Brown's Grocery. Jennifer currently worked as an inside and outside sales lady for Southwest Nuts and Bolts Industry. She was a member of Community Christian Church. Jennifer will be remembered for her love for the outdoors. She enjoyed fishing and hunting since she was a young girl and also had a passion for mud riding. Jennifer found peace and serenity in her horses. Those left to cherish her memory are her loving and devoted husband, Mike Duplechin; three adoring children, Hanna Kate, Hailey Michelle, and Anthony David Martin all of LeBleu Settlement; her parents, Larry and Rhonda Manuel; a brother, Wilkin "Kin" Larry Manuel and wife Cheryl; a sister, Kimberly Kate Juarez and husband Miguel; a niece, Keira Kate Juarez; and two nephews, Tyler Miner and Joshua Leger all of Lake Charles. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at Lake City Baptist Church. The Rev. Ronnie Estes and Father Herbert May will officiate. Cremation will follow the services and will be inurned in Liberty Cemetery in Elton, LA at a later date. Visitation will begin in the funeral home on Saturday from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM and will resume on Sunday from 8:00 AM until leaving for the church at 1:30 PM.
