Jerry Gordon Dubroc, Sr., 70, passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at home. Services will be held at 11 am on Friday, October 24, 2014 at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home with Reverend David Gunter officiating. Burial will follow at Green Oak Cemetery in Kinder, LA. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 23, 2014 from 4-7 pm at the funeral home and on Friday, October 24, 2014 from 8 am until the time of service. Jerry was born in Oberlin, LA and lived in Sulphur for the past 37 years. He was a graduate of Marion High School. Jerry served in the U.S. Army. Jerry worked at PPG which later became Axiall for 26 years. Jerry was a member of Sulphur United Pentecostal Church. Jerry loved to watch LSU football and he loved to BBQ. Jerry is survived by his wife of 48 years, Dee Brannon Dubroc; one daughter, Melissa (Brent) LeBon and one son, Jerry G. (Anita) Dubroc, all of Sulphur; 6 grandchildren, Hannah Jennings, Haleigh Granger, Justin Dubroc, Justin Carlin, Ashlyn Carlin and Anthony LeBon; and one great grandchild, Alyana Granger; and one sister, Barbara Wall of Groves, TX.
