Jerry Lee Manuel

Jerry Lee Manuel, 68 of Sulphur passed away on June 18, 2012. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 21, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Robison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Shirley officiating. Burial will be held at Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Carlyss under the direction of Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 from 4-9 p.m. at Robison Funeral Home and will resume on Thursday at 8 a.m. until time of service. Jerry was a native of Lake Charles and a long-time Sulphur resident. He worked for many years as a manager for Thermal Insulation. Jerry was a member of Bayou Oaks Country Club, where he enjoyed playing golf. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Jerry is survived by his three daughters, Rita Renee Fruge and Chad of Carlyss, Tiffany Mays and husband, Shawn of Carlyss, and Melinda Sue Lee and husband, Mark of Mont Belview, TX; three sisters, Geraldine Perry of Lake Charles, Linda Ryder and husband, Dan of Kinder, and Lena Romero of Lake Charles; brother, David Manuel and wife, Mona of Lake Charles; and 6 grandchildren, Michael Lee, Christopher Nunez, Jordyn Lee, Andrew Nunez, Payton Mays and Brennan Mays. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Opal Manuel and one son, Buddy Manuel.
