Jerry Lynn "Buster" Robertson Jr.

Jerry Lynn "Buster" Robertson Jr. 53 of Greenville Mississippi was called home to be with the Lord on January 1, 2022 in Lake Charles. He was born on July 29, 1968 in Vicksburg Mississippi to Jerry Lynn and Carole Robertson.

He and his wife Kendra were best friends in high school and even dated for a while. They took stressful mechanics classes together and attended concerts and movies with their friends. He graduated from Warren Central High School in 1988 and then traveled the world serving his country in the US military until returning in 1996. When he returned, he and Kendra were married on November 21, 1997 and have been together ever since.

 In 1998 they moved to Greenville and he works for OMS with the military until he retired in 2005. He then worked for Washington County Mississippi and also the state of Mississippi with the department of transportation. He was currently working for Chicot Inc. He also spent some time working in the pipeline industry.

He is survived by wife and his everything Kendra Robertson, children; Brittany Terry (Jeremy) of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Gary Robertson, Mother Carole Robertson, half-sister, Leslie, mother-in-law, Nadine Wilson, sister-in-law, Sharon Melvin, grandchildren; Logan and Sophia Terry, Joslyn Robertson, nephews; Jarvis Melvin and Cody Melvin, great-nephew Samuel, great-niece, Caroline, and many nephews, nieces, and cousins. He was very loved, and will be missed by all who knew him.

Jerry is preceded in death by his father, Jerry Lynn Robertson Sr, half-sister, Karen, and father-in-law Kenneth Wilson.

Mr. Robertson‘s memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 4 at 2 PM at Simple Traditions by Johnson Funeral Home located at 3448 5th Ave., Lake Charles, LA.; officiated by Pastor Danny Holman of Greenville Church of Christ. Visitation will begin at 1 PM.
