Jesse Swire, Jr.

Jesse Swire, Jr., 79 passed away on February 2nd, 2023, in Sulphur at his residence. He was born on April 2nd, 1943, in Hackberry, La., to Jesse and Rose Swire, Sr., He was a lifelong resident of Hackberry, La.

Jesse enjoyed spending time outdoors and fishing. Jesse and his brothers always had a strumming good time while playing guitars together. Jesse loved his furry friend Angel; she was always by his side and a great companion.

Those left to cherish Jesse’s memory are his brothers; Wilson Swire, Ernest Swire and Eugene “Catfish” Swire, stepdaughter; Theresa Woods (Timothy), stepson; George Landry (Tina), step-daughters-in-law; Marlene Landry and Cheryl Landry, and many step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by, his wife; Lou Anna LaBove Swire, stepsons; Randolph Landry and Wayne Landry.

A Memorial service will be held at 12:00 PM, Friday, February 10th, 2023, with a Memoria visitation at 9:00 AM until the time of the service, at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home in Sulphur, La.
