Jessie Dean Radel, 29, of Moss Bluff died on Sunday February 18, 2018 at his residence.
Jessie was born on March 9, 1988 in Schweinfurt, Germany to Dean Curtis and Petra Loewner Radel. He did construction work, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, wood working, sports, loved music, and animals.
Jessie is survived by his mother, Petra Radel and his “lil sis” Alena Radel of Moss Bluff and father Dean Radel and step mother Virgina Radel of Lake Charles; son, Caleb Wesley Radel and his step daughter Averi Lynn Cook of Huntington Texas; step brothers, Trent Matte with wife Whitney, of Iowa; Nicolas Dilly with wife Emily, of Kaplan and Laura Touchet, of Lake Charles; nieces, Layne Touchet, Kamry Matte, and Harper Dilly; maternal grandmother, Karin Loewner of Cuxhaven, Germany with son Justin Loewner; paternal grandmother, Ida Korf, of Fairbanks, AK; uncles, Scott Radel, Mike Radel, and Thomas Ahsendorf, wife Byrthe with son Leo and daughter Sophia; aunts, Heidi Radel with husband Colin, Karin Loewner, Jennie Radel, and Carrie Radel. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Dieter Loewner and paternal grandfather, (Charles) Walt Radel, and will also be missed by extended family and friends.
Jessie will be forever loved and missed by all who knew him and loved him. We will forever be grateful for all the things he has taught everyone and all the things he has done for anyone. He will never be forgotten. A gathering of friends and family will be at Johnson Funeral Home, Lake Charles on Friday February 23rd, 2018 from 4:00 PM until the start of a Memorial Service at 6:30 PM with Pastor Charlie Williams officiating. If everyone could please wear a nice dark blue shirt, it was Jessie’s favorite color.
