Jessie Faciane Skipper

Jessie Skipper, 58, passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, September 5, 2015. Ms. Skipper was born in Slidell, La and a resident of Tylertown, MS since 2006. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was an active member of Dinan Baptist Church in Tylertown, MS. She leaves to cherish her memory, the father of her children, Stephen Lowe Smith of Lake Charles, La; her daughter, Jennifer Smith of Bogalusa, La; son, Alan Smith and his wife Jodi of Breaux Bridge, La; daughter, Kristy Smith Branch and her husband, Bryan of Moss Bluff, La; 4 granddaughters, Caitlyn Augustine, Victoria Branch, Elizabeth Branch, Madysin Branch and 1 grandson, Mason Branch; her siblings, Carol Ann Innerarity and husband Harold, Joyce Galatas, Bertrand (Bert) Faciane, Ronald Faciane and his wife Debbie, Holly Stubenrauch and her husband Roy, Melody Scanlan and her husband Tim, Dawn Pichon and her husband Kirk and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nathan "Wayne" Skipper; father, Bertrand (Buck) Faciane Sr.; mother, Colleen Faciane Flint; sister, Janet Crawford and daughter, Stephanie Diane Smith. Graveside services will be at 1:00 PM Tuesday, September 08, 2015 at Lacassine Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Reverend Wayne Taylor will officiate. Interment will follow.
