Jill Thibodeaux Trahan

October 1, 1962 — August 19, 2020

Jill Thibodeaux Trahan was born on October 1, 1962 in Lake Charles. After graduating from LaGrange High in 1980, Jill found purpose for her life in raising a family. Her vibrant spirit, compassionate heart, and endless love was well known to her children and grandchildren, along with the extended family she gladly claimed as her own. Momma Jill, or as many knew her by, "Taunte", lived to love without judgement, nor with strings, and her beautiful soul will forever be remembered by the many lives she has touched.

She leaves to cherish her husband of many years, Randy Trahan of Lake Charles, and the father to her four children: son, Ryan and wife Alaina Trahan of Abilene, TX and children Isabella, Amelia, Ryan Jr., and Noemie; daughter, Chase Trahan of Lake Charles and children Dayton Trahan and Elias and Kylie Combs; daughter, Chance and husband Robert Marquez and children Keeleigh, Mercedeze, and Joseph; son, Daniel “Doogie” Trahan of Lake Charles and partner Kameron Jones of Sulphur.

Visitation for our beloved mother will be Tuesday, October 6, 2020 from 12-1:30pm with a Rosary from 1:30-2pm at Johnson's Funeral Home (2171 Hwy 171 in Moss Bluff). Immediately following, a mass celebrating her life will be held at St. Martin De Porres (5495 Elliott Rd in Lake Charles) at 2:30 pm. Lastly, we will leave the church to put her to rest at Consolata Cemetery (2300 Country Club Rd in Lake Charles).

Donations to the family to help with outstanding expenses can be donated to her GoFundMe account at gf.me/u/y3bafr
