Jimmie Marie Rogers

Jimmie Marie Rogers, 83 of Sulphur passed away on August 9, 2015. She was a member of Maplewood First Baptist Church of Sulphur. Jimmie loved to cook and loved spending time with her family and friends. Jimmie is survived by her two sons, Robert Glenn Rogers, Sr. and wife Belinda and Ted Rogers and wife Nina; her daughter, Claire Ann Rogers; 5 grandchildren, Robert Glenn Rogers, Jr., Lance Rogers and wife Aimee, Joseph Ellis and wife Elizabeth, Angelina Rogers, Casey Rogers and wife Haley; 6 great grandchildren, Cole Rogers, Mia Rogers, Emma Rogers, Cayson Rogers, Aiden Willis and Hadley Ellis; 2 brothers, Melvin Reed and Billy James Lincoln; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Billy Wayne Rogers; daughter, Brenda Alvarez; and 3 brothers, Eddie Lincoln, Billy Reed and Douglas Reed. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at 10 A.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Glenn Rogers, Sr. officiating. Burial will be held in Roselawn Cemetery in Sulphur under the direction of Johnson and Robison. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 from 6-9 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral and will continue on Wednesday at 9 A.M. until time of the service.
