Mr. LeBlanc was born in Jennings, LA  and lived most of his life in Lake Charles.  He was a graduate of LaGrange High School and worked his younger years as a Machinist in his father-in-law’s machine shop.  The end of his working career was as an Aircraft Mechanic with Boeing at Chennault in Lake Charles.  Following hurricanes Laura and Delta, Mr. LeBlanc, affectionately known to everyone as “Pop Pop”, chose to move with is daughter and her family to Davenport, FL so that he could continue to share in the joy of his daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren’s lives.  Other than the time spent with his family, his best downtime was spent fishing in Cameron.  He was an active member of Living Way Pentecostal Church and will be remembered as an admirable man of faith and prayer.

The family of Mr. LeBlanc wishes to express heartfelt thanks to those who have prayed and comforted them during this time.  Most importantly, they will forever be grateful for the special relationship and friendship, with Pop Pop, daily visits with Ashlyn for a game of SKIP-BO and loving on grandpups and the blessing of the unity of their family.

He leaves to honor his memory, one daughter, Pam LeBlanc Poché and husband Travis, primarily of Lake Charles; four grandchildren, Brandi Morris and husband Michael, Garrett Peak, Ariel Poché and husband Cody and Ashlyn Poché; three great-grandchildren; former wife and dear friend, Judy Laurents Dugas and husband Clyde of Lake Charles; one sister, Mary Alice Smith of Lake Charles; one brother, Ricky LeBlanc and wife Monica of Moss Bluff; nieces and nephew and his beloved grandpups, Bolt and Rolly.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tamara LeBlanc Cleghorn; grandson, Michael Lee Peak, Jr.; great-grandson, Gunner Reed Poché;  brother-in-law, Marvin Smith; parents, Steve LeBlanc and Ella Mae Champagne LeBlanc; one brother, Kenny LeBlanc and nephew, Marvin Douglas "Tee" Smith, Jr.
