Joan Wagner

Joan Marie Wagner, 86, of Sulphur, LA passed away Monday, March 15^th, 2021. Visitation for Joan will be Friday March 19th, 2021 at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home from 9:30 AM until 12:30 PM, 107 W. Napoleon St. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 PM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Sulphur, 2700 Maplewood Dr. Father Aubrey Guilbeau will officiate services. Burial will be at Mimosa Pines South.

Joan was a native of Haddonfield, NJ and had lived in the Maplewood and Sulphur area since 1944. She was retired from lake Charles Lumber Company after 33.5 years of service. She continued to work part time for Alpha chemical for an additional six years.

Joan was preceded in death by her parents, Harry E. Wagner, Sr., and Marie C Wagner.

She is survived by one brother, Harry E. “Bud” Wagner, Jr.; and cousins, Connie Ellender (Jay), Rory Ellender (Shonda), Tyler, Evan, and Jayme Ellender (Monica), her extended (Broussard Family, Jolene Broussard, Michelle Honick, Renee (Bubba) Broussard, Denise Frey(Joe), Remy Broussard (Nancy), Justin Broussard, Charlotte Peterson and Jacques Broussard ( Kelli). As well as numerous grand and great grandchildren, last but not least, Joan’s dear friends who brought her great joy.
