Joanna Droddy

Joanna Droddy, 68, passed away on August 12, 2024, in Sulphur, LA.

Joanna Droddy was born on March 2, 1956, in Ukiah, CA, to Macario Carrera and Chelsea Ray.

Joanna graduated from Plainview High School in 1971. She loved being around friends and family while raising her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren the most. She enjoyed the outdoors fishing and was an avid reader.

Joanna is survived by loving husband of 51 years, Ivan Lynn Droddy of Sulphur; 2 children, Mistie Lynn Henson and husband Robert and Ivan Lynn Droddy Jr. and wife Renee; grandchildren, Robert Henson, Sean Henson, Shelby Henson, Shaylie Henson, and Hannah Droddy; great grandchildren, Kloie Henson, Mya Hamby, Rowan Henson, Claire Henson, Eveline Henson, and Kepler Cummings, three siblings, Silvie Johnson, Lisa Fussell, and Macario Mac Carrera.

Joanna is preceded in death by her parents, Macario and Chelsea Carrera.

The graveside service for Joanna Droddy will be held on Thursday, at 11:00 AM at Big Woods Cemetery. The visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM on Thursday, August 15, at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Burial will be under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home at Bigwoods Cemetery.
