Joe Grady Peshoff

Joe Grady Peshoff, 68, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2016 with his loving family by his side.

Mr. Peshoff was born in Lake Charles, La. He worked at Fire Safety and Sales for over 40 years, retiring as a manager. He was a faithful member of Moss Bluff Bible Church. Mr. Peshoff had a passion coaching baseball. He coached for over fifteen years, coaching both children on the field and his grandchildren from the stands. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren’s sporting events.

He is survived by two sons, Joe Grady Peshoff, II and wife Kimberly Fontenot Peshoff  of Moss Bluff, LA, and Chad Joseph Peshoff and wife Denise Blanchard Peshoff of Lake Charles, LA, two brothers, Bobby Peshoff and wife Cathy of Loomis, NE, and Ricky Peshoff and wife Cathy of Ragley, LA, two step sisters, Ann Reeves and husband Gary of Salado, TX and Rayelyn Parker and husband Stacy of New Iberia, four grandchildren, Tyler and Tanner Peshoff and Grant and Karli Peshoff. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Peshoff is preceded in death by his loving wife of 48 years, Sue Ritter Peshoff, his parents, Wilford “Mickey” and Melva Peshoff.

His funeral will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Moss Bluff Bible Church. Reverend Jeremy Smith will officiate. Interment will be at New Ritchie Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church on Friday from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of services.

The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff of Heart of Hospice and to the staff of Lake Charles Memorial Hospital for their care and compassion given to Mr. Peshoff.
