Joe Miller

Lawrence James Miller passed away on May 20, 2018 while visiting his family. Lawrence or Joe as he was known to his friends was born in Lake Charles, LA on November 19, 1960 to Lawrence and Irene “Toot” Guidry Miller.

Joe was the owner and operator of Miller’s Fork Lift Service. Joe loved to cook, ride his 4-wheeler and work. More than anything else, his family and friends meant the world to him.

Joe is survived by his three sons, Joshua (Julie) Miller of Lake Charles, Caleb (Jackie) Miller of Arkansas and Jacob Miller of Lafayette. Those who will especially miss him are his two granddaughters, Lily and Kate Miller. He also leaves his sister Alice (Mike) Beard of Moss Bluff and his brother Russell Sonnier of Westlake along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Miller is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Ray Allen Sonnier and his granddaughter Avery Miller.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 25, 2018 at Johnson Funeral Home from 12-7PM. This will be an informal gathering of friends and family to celebrate Mr. Miller’s life. Cremation was handled by Arkansas Central Crematory.
