Joel Soileau

Joel Keith Soileau, 61, passed away at home, surrounded by his family, on October 13, 2017.

After graduating high school Joel served in the United States Navy. For around fifteen years he worked as a glass installer for Colonial Glass. His main passion was cars, especially the Nissan 260Z. He was a member of the Z Car Club. Joel also enjoyed gardening and going to rock concerts.

He is survived by his parents, Joseph Soileau and Lorena Trahan Soileau; three brothers, Brent Soileau, Jimmy Soileau, and Gary Trahan; and four sisters, Cindy Lee, Tarra Sherer, Julie King, and Georgie Welch; and aunt and uncle, Leona and Tommy Ellett.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Hazel Theriot and Doug Welch, and Felisha and Lindsey Soileau; and sister, Tammy Courville.

A visitation will be held at Johnson Funeral Home on Monday, October 16, 2017 at 4PM to 8PM. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home following the visitation.
