John A. Kelemen, 91, of Lake Charles, died Monday, January 07, 2013 in a local healthcare facility.
Mr. Kelemen was born in Hitchcock, TX and lived the past fifty years in Lake Charles. He served in the United States Navy during World War II. He worked as a painter and enjoyed fishing. Mr. Kelemen was of Catholic faith.
He leaves to honor his memory, one daughter, Beverly Howard of Deer Park, TX; three sons, Darrell Kelemen and wife Nancy of Galveston, TX, Donnie Kelemen and wife Debbie of Galveston, TX and Mike Kelemen and wife Cora of Santa Fe, TX, and daughter in law Clara Kelemen of Jasper, TX; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and one brother, Vick Kelemen of League City, TX.
He was preceded in death by one son, Johnny Kelemen, Jr.; his parents and eleven brothers and sisters.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Friday, January 11, 2013 at Consolata Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Father Wayne LeBleu will officiate. Interment will follow services. Visitation Thursday will be from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
