John Calvin Isaac

John Calvin Isaac, 80 passed away on September 7, 2013 in his residence. John was a native and resident of Sulphur. He was a member of Christians of Eternal Faith and was a veteran of the U S Army serving his country during the Korean War. John retired from Conoco Refinery after 32 years of service. John is survived by his wife of 52 years, Margie Ruth Peshoff Isaac of Sulphur; daughter, Ellen Isaac Schoppert and husband, Steve of Orange, TX; and sister, Drusilla Isaac Beglis of Sulphur. He was preceded in death by his parents, Feywood and Josephine Isaac; and siblings, Jackie Isaac Martin, Dorothy Mae Isaac Schrumpf, Isaac Faris Isaac, George Isaac and Joyce Isaac Guidry. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 9, 2013at 10a.m. at Celebration Worship Center in Sulphur with Rev. Betty Gasaway and Rev. Kevin Williams officiating. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Carlyss under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 8, 2013 from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home and will resume on Monday at 9a,m, at the church until time of the service.
