John Carlos "Trey" Dubus Iii

John Carlos “Trey” Dubus, III, of Moss Bluff, LA, died at 2:50 AM on Tuesday, March 31, 2020 in a local hospital.

Trey was born March 24, 1965 in Monroe, LA.  He was a 1983 graduate of St. Louis High School and attended McNeese State University and Sowela Technical School.  Trey moved to California for a number of years before moving back to the Lake Charles area.  He worked for GI Trucking for twenty-eight years as a dispatcher and assistant manager and most recently worked in the construction industry.  He enjoyed camping and horseback riding and will always be remembered for his love of the New Orleans Saints and NASCAR.

Trey is survived by his parents, Faye and Carlos Dubus, Jr. of Lake Charles; children, Jessie Nichole Beckman and husband Travis and Jarrett Dubus, all of San Diego, CA; sister, Traci Gibson and husband J.J.; brother, Trent Dubus and wife Tasha, all of Lake Charles; and his faithful companion, Rosco.

His memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at St. Martin de Porres.  Monsignor Jace Eskind will officiate.  Inurnment will follow in Consolata Cemetery, under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.
