John Cody Welker

John Cody Welker, 44, passed away on December 27, 2022, in a local hospital.  John enjoyed fishing, listening to music, grilling, cooking, playing video games and spending time with family.  He liked to watch sports, especially Florida State football.  John will be remembered for his great sense of humor.  

John is survived by his son, Dakota Breaux; his daughter, Kierra Welker; his fiancé, Mesha Talerico; five siblings, Rhonda Hart, Crystal Hodges and husband Timothy, Tony Welker, Danny Welker and Richard Welker; and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and his sister-in-law, Donna Welker.

 Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson and Robison Funeral Home.

 An amazing man, father, friend and kid at heart has unexpectedly passed away.  Due to the fact that it was so sudden, we, his family are asking for any donations to help for his final wishes for cremation.  Donations can be made to Johnson and Robison Funeral Home.  Thank you for all of your prayers, thoughts, love and donations.  -The family.
