John David Gammage

John David Gammage, 36, of Lake Charles, LA has passed away. John was born in Lake Charles on November 3, 1981, to John and Beverly Manuel Gammage.

John was a graduate of McNeese State University and Sowela Technical College. He was the owner and operator of Gammage Drywall and Paint Company. John was passionate about his music and especially loved to play his guitar.

John is preceded in death by his mother, paternal grandparents Robert and Audry Hackett, and his maternal grandparents Pero and Bernice Manuel.

Those left to cherish his memory include his father, two sisters, Jessica Polanco of Lake Charles, and Jennifer Schaefer (Gus) of Sour Lake, TX. He also leaves a niece, Beverly Polanco and two nephews, John Polanco II and Gus Schaefer IV.

The family will receive friends at Johnson Funeral Home on Saturday, February 24 from 1-4PM. A funeral service will be conducted at 4PM at the funeral home officiated by Deacon George Carr. Cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
